Assets already Distributed

1.      Assets distributed but are not accounted for within TIPWeb-IT. If ALL assets are not in the system yet a suggested method is:

Purchasing > Import Inventory tool

Call/Email support to gain access to the template and guidance through the process

2.     Some assets in but some are are not within TIPWeb-IT. The suggested method is a 2-step process: 

For the assets not currently within TIPWeb-IT:

Upload new assets into the system with a PO Inventory Import to students.

Call/Email support to gain access to the template and guidance

For the existing assets within TIPWeb-IT:

Support can help load this data for you. Provide an excel document with the data fields below for assets that have been distributed outside of TIPWeb-IT.

Data fields required: Site ID, Site name, Tag, Serial, Student ID, Student name to update distributions

1.       Will the students be picking up assets from their assigned school or from a limited number of sites/campuses?

2.       Are you planning to issue devices from one site within TIPWeb-IT?
